An advanced automatic tamping solution designed to enhance efficiency, consistency, and flavor development in espresso production.
Smart Tamping
The compact PT2 streamlines workflow, reduces barista workload, and ensures precise and consistent tamping across various operators. Safety is paramount, with the PT2 activating only when metal triggers the sensor, eliminating the risk of human contact.
Guide Levelling System (GLS)
The patented GLS corrects uneven portafilter handles, ensuring an evenly distributed and perfectly flat coffee bed surface. This minimizes channeling and promotes uniform extraction by preventing inconsistent tamping angles and pressures.
Segmented Multi Tamping with Precise Pressure Control
Choose your preferred pressure setting for achieving your desired extraction times, ranging from 2kg to 38kg. Experience consistent pressure delivery, ensuring uniform results across varying particle sizes and dosed volumes. Benefit from three programmable multi-tamp settings and a built-in recording function to track usage cycles effortlessly. With its adjustable design, the Precision Tamp 2 accommodates a wide range of Portafilter handles with ease, offering convenience and versatility.
Precise – Safety
Group handle detection sensor only activates with metal (not fingers). Operating on only 12 Volts to the unit via an inline stepdown transformer. Surge protection designed to the main electronic control board ensuring longevity and reliability.
Non-Stick Coating
Nano Non-Stick Technology eliminates residual build-up of the coffee fines and oils maintaining clean tamping.
Construction
A strong cast alloy housing and all metal features ensures durability and reliability. Easy access for technical servicing.
