Tool-Free Maintenance and Adjustment

• Easy Burr Access: Cleaning is made simple with tool-free access to the burrs. Two butterfly nuts on the front can be easily undone (they remain captive), allowing the front burr assembly to be removed via the integrated handle.

• Moisture Resistance: The Philos is designed to be fully moisture resistant, making RDT (Ross Droplet Technique) a non-issue. The airtight seal is so precise that Mazzer even had to add a small air release hole to the front panel for easy reassembly!

• Grind Adjustment: The grinder is standardly a stepped grinder, offering $0.6$ micron per indicator. The rear adjustment mechanism moves the motor forward and backward, ensuring that removing and replacing the front burr set does not alter your grind setting. It can also be converted to a stepless configuration for advanced users.
