Varia VS3 38mm Burrs - Gen 1
The Varia VS3 grinder features 38mm 6-core conical burrs. Its standard high-nitrogen 420 stainless steel burrs are durable and excel with both filter and espresso, though they can struggle with light roasts for espresso.
For an upgrade, Varia offers the titanium-coated Hypernova burr sets. These provide enhanced hardness, durability, and heat resistance.

Hypernova Burrs (Filter & Espresso): Constructed with a harder 440 stainless steel base and titanium coating, the Hypernova burrs deliver superior consistency for all grind types, offering a balanced profile with enhanced clarity. Available only in Iridescent Titanium.
Please note that this is a Gen 1 burr set and is only compatible with Gen 1 units.
