



Wegida - Single Origin Espresso Roast
A sweet, fruity, naturally processed Yirgacheffe with beautifully balanced, winey notes.
Tasting Notes: Winey, raisin, mudcake.
This single-farmer lot is produced by Nigist Germachew. She has a small farm near the town of Wegida and sells her coffee through a local women-led export agency with whom she receives a premium price.
While not organic certified, she uses no chemicals and is organic by default. The farm also grows other crops like avocadoes, potatoes and collard greens.
It is really special to now have access to fully traceable coffees as new laws have allowed for direct purchasing from the farmer.
